Radiant Ragdolls of Florida is owned and operated by Jessica McGlone, with some assistance from her husband, Matt McGlone. Their ragdoll journey began in 2019, when Jessica decided she wanted a cat to keep her company during the nights she spent awake and alone after years of being a shift worker. After months of researching breeds, she decided on a Ragdoll, but knew it might take some convincing to get Matt onboard. Much to her surprise, when she asked Matt if she could get a Ragdoll, he said yes without hesitation. Little did she know, Matt did not know that a Ragdoll was a cat and simply thought it was a very odd request for a literal "ragdoll". Jessica immediately began her search for her new best friend!
Our First Ragdoll Turned into Two
After finding the perfect Ragdoll kitten, adoption day finally arrived! Jessica and Matt drove two hours to pickup their new kitten. But instead of going home with just one kitten, they went home with two - two brothers, whom they named Smokey and Biscuit.
